So…. hackers actually have very large lists of passwords that people use. They can run through that list and use it to “brute force” into your accounts.
People literally use “12345” as a password, and hackers know it.

I’ve known for awhile that people write their passwords on sticky notes and put the sticky notes out in plain view. What I didn’t want to believe is that people are literally still using “12345” as a password. The picture above is of a sticky note that I encountered on the monitor of a system that accesses some VERY confidential information. Besides this, one may not consider that once someone can access one desktop computer, then “fun” is just beginning. Once they’re on there, hackers can install programs that harvest information as you type, so they can log into other systems you’re accessing.
